A mounting structure is used to fix the module to the ground or roof. The modules that point south are in the best position to be most perpendicular to the sun light from 10 AM and 2 PM. When modules are oriented exactly perpendicular to the sunlight it receives the greatest possible insulation and puts out its highest wattage.
